Eternal Technology

Eternal Technology, a Taiwan-based chemical company, produces photo-resist films at its Chesterfield County plant which enable printed circuit board manufacturers to produce extremely fine circuit patterns on copper-clad laminated plates through a photo-imaging process.

Newport News. The Jefferson Lab uses a continuous electron beam accelerator to probe the nature of matter through research into high-energy physics. A related project, the Free Electron Laser project, is being used to develop new materials at a molecular level.

University of Virginia Department of Chemistry

Charlottesville. Midsized chemistry department with 28 faculty members and 120 graduate students. Disciplines include synthetic inorganic chemistry, spectroscopy and laser interactions with matter.

University of Virginia Department of Chemical Engineering
